For my dash, i needed even more extensions, but the threads are not standard 1.25, they are probably 1.5 or larger (m6). I also added a support to negate any wobble - otherwise, great quality.

The holding power is very good and the finish is neat. It's the perfect shape I was looking for. The middle angle adjustment device is also sturdy and it's not sticky but has a vacuum suction type which is great.
