They seem accurate; I bought them to weigh kittens. There's a protective box on top, which is very good, better than plastic wrap. It requires AA batteries (2).

I thought i got a 3000g scale because it’s in the title listing but there are other options in “color”so i ended up with the 1000g would be nice to have it more clear in title that there are options. product seems good though
