It looks solid. Nowadays, you can remove any lock, but I prefer to have this lock in place rather than none at all. There is a chain inside. The lock looks aesthetically pleasing; this is the second one I've bought. It's easy to install and looks just like in the pictures.

As a complementary anti-theft device, it does the job. But alone, it won't withstand a disc cutter or a pliers for cutting metal for long.

This is a flimsy ass chain and a waste of money if you're trying to secure a bike. The picture does no justice on how microscopic the chain is .
You are better off buying something domestically that is more beefy. The links/weight are miniscule and i wouldn't trust locking up anything expensive, especially in public.
