Melamine Sponge
First of all, the price is low and the quantity is sufficient to meet your needs. The cost-performance ratio is excellent. However, the quality of the product is poor, and after a short period of use, the sponge develops cracks and turns into fine, fragmented pieces. I don't know the exact reason, but I believe it's due to the way the melamine fiber is made. The melamine sponge I bought from DAISO gradually becomes worn out, thin, and smaller, but its cracks and flexibility are not damaged, allowing it to clean both sides of the edges of dishes simultaneously. It won't fall apart after several washes. I don't know the specific differences, but I can feel a strong elasticity to the touch, but it lacks delicacy and tears or breaks easily, so the fibers might be thick. Looking at the records, this product breaks or cracks after 2-3 dishwashing cycles, and becomes unusable after 10 uses. On the other hand, DAISO products can be used an average of about 15 to 20 times. In the end, the whole thing will become slightly wilted, but it can still be used until the very end. Even considering the price difference, there is not much difference in the total amount of work, and considering the hassle of replacement or disposal, the benefits are subtle. The thinner one was easier to use and lasted longer. I hope this will be helpful.
