In a way, it's not what I expected. It does work, but it doesn't cool down as such. I would say it only prevents the board from heating up due to magnetic charging, but that's all it does. The heat generated by the device is still present and it doesn't dissipate at all. I tried several chargers of different wattages, even up to 100W, but it just didn't increase the power.

Exactly what i was looking for since ages glad to see someone was thinking along the same lines i bought the backseat connector for the bmw x7 and i bought one with a 17mm ball joint socket that ties in perfectly to the magnetic mount and the qi 2 peltier charger to be mounted to the backseat so passengers can charge or remove the it to use just the magnetic mount for a tablet as for the charger itself it gets super cold more than any other peltier coolers/charger combos i’ve used the magnetic mount as well as the charger have super strong magnets it’s honestly a pain to remove they’re that strong heck even the metal ring sticker they sent for non magsafe devices was stuck to The outside of the chargers and mounts box as for the charging speed initially got 15w since i’m using a 15 series but i did manage to try on the 17 pro max and it hit up to 20 think it would have hit 25w had the phone had a more drained battery but 60-70% made it not need the full wattage definitely worthwhile

Great product been looking for something like this for a long time super strong magnets on these both the mount and the charger are really strong the metal ring sticker that came with the charger was stuck to the outside of the chargers box the charger itself i’m not sure if it’s actually 25w only because i don’t have the newer iphone to test that out but on my 15 series it does give 15w no problem cooling is also pretty good colder than some of the other peltier coolers i’ve used good thing with this is the lights can be turned off unlike some of the other peltier/qi combo chargers out there the purple lights on these are i’m guessing an adaptive mode which have cooling and Qi charging enabled but only when a device is placed on these pad does it activate the cooler and charging the green light is where only the fan is on but not the charging both of these modes can be changed by holding the button for 3s to turn of light double click

It keeps my phone cool when i game on it but if you mount something on the back make sure it has an opening for air to get in.
